Fire Damage Defense With Audra from Perrysburg, Ohio

My story started much like anyone else’s. I was moving out of a larger space into a smaller one and needed to store bulky clothing and bedding items in less space. I chose the Space Bag Storage Totes as they offered the perfect solution for my items and the longer-term storage they needed. I had sweaters and other winter clothing in one bag, and bedding and pillows in another. The space savings were tremendous, but that was only a small portion of their function! Just 11 days after moving my things into a storage facility, it suffered a fire. The fire and heat did half of the damage, but the smoke, water and subsequent mold did the rest. My items that were in those totes were luckily away from the fire and heat. When we were finally allowed into the facility (two weeks after the fire), we had lost almost everything. The cardboard boxes were smoke stained and molded, along with everything in them. But when I got to the totes, I was happier than you can imagine to see that while the outside looked smoky (no mold), the inside was still sealed and completely smoke- and water-free! I didn’t even need to launder a thing in either one! I have used Space Bag products for travel and storage for years. While I have always been very happy with them and how they helped me save space or pack more efficiently, this extreme situation has to be the winner of the “why I use them” challenge!
